Yes, Paris Hilton is releasing an album this year. Her new single "Stars Are Blind" is already hot on the charts at number 21 after only 2 weeks on the charts. The song debuted at number 18 on Billboard's Hot 100 list, which is higher than Beyonce's "Deja Vu" or Letoya's "Torn".
